“VR-Zen” #1

This week’s project topic is Virtual Reality with a zen and meditation approach. We will have to create an environment that give a sensation of peace, calm and concentration where the observer can see elements like shadow, lights and geometric figures which behaviour support this sensation of focus immersion. As VR we had as references the holographic projections in Hatsune Miko’s concerts, a virtual singer which music is made with a programme named vocaloid. We also were introduced to VR systems like Oculus Rift or Steam Vive, which already have a variety of VR products. The teacher encouraged us to use simple forms, tones of white, Water effects and reflections, structures moving gently or natural zen environments like Japanese gardens all with a relaxing song as background.

Obviously, I will have to use again Unreal Engine to do this work I hope that this week study added to the previous project will help me to correct some errors and improve a bit so the result be good and I am happy with it.
