“VR-Zen” update #3

Finally, I have decided to use geometric figures made of several parts that will create different compositions and structures while they move and will cast shadows to the floor and walls. I used the geometric puzzles of wood, geometric origami, planetary spinners and Tamara Kvesitadze’s “Man and Woman” moving sculpture as references for my figures.

As figures I have in mind a dodecahedron composed by several dodecahedron figures one inside the other, a Cylinder made of layers as Tamara Kvesitadze’s sculpture with a similar behaviour, a pyramid with a similar structure as the dodecahedron and a holographic planetary spinner. All these elements will be a part of a planetary station room or spaceship control room where the spectators will be surrounded by these moving figures that will rotate around a centre point and they will decide which one want to see by rotating over itself.

By the moment I have modelled the dodecahedron here is the result.
